HERE'S A QUICK GUIDE TO WHAT'S NEARBY
koi - dessert bar
'Kids of Ike', Reynold Poernomo and his brothers run this incredible dessert bar near Top Ryde, just 7 minutes drive from Curzon Hall (or visit their flagship store in Chippendale if you're staying closer to the CBD).
Famous for being the king of desserts and a favourite to win Channel 10's Masterchef (twice), Reynold has a passion for desserts like no other.
Eastwood - chinatown
A suburban gem only 7 mins drive from Curzon Hall, this strip of restaurants and hawker styled stalls will have you bursting at the seams in no time.
One of our favourites is the steamed rice noodle rolls made fresh in the alley beside Lakeside Road as well as the Taiwanese desserts store Meet Fresh with their signature mochi balls.
Bare Witness - cafe
Overlooking the Parramatta River, this casual eatery is a great stop for brunch with their seasonal menu by a head chef who has cooked at many hatted restaurants. A 13 min drive from Curzon Hall, make sure to visit 1 of 3 IKEAs in Sydney while you're there (nzlanders!).
Our favourite dishes are their chicken & waffles and soft shell crab whenever it's on their menu.
Macquarie centre - mall
Just a 5 minute drive from Curzon Hall, this shopping centre has pretty much anything you want or need.
With over 360+ shops and an ice skating rink on site, it's a great place to shop, dine or even skate if you have time to spare.
